Nice place with free wi-fi in rooms, 24-hour security, and a tv. The staff once helped me with local info, which I remember fondly. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The proprietor was very courteous and the building is a nice old Yorkshire stone house of Victorian date with some character. The grounds are extensive and it is off the road and therefore, free of traffic noise. There was ample parking
The TV didn't work (or we couldn't work it out). The bathroom was so small it was difficult to enter. There was no water or drinking glasses in the room. The jug kettle was tiny and difficuly to fill. The carpet was stained. The double bed was quite small. The stair carpet was worn.

Had fine experience, overall modern and fabulous place.
We walked everywhere, the location was exceptionally nice, down hill from the moment you step in the front door.

Beautiful grounds, feels like your in the country but 5 mins from small village of cleckheaton that has some shops, bars & restaurants. Also 15- 20 mins to Bradford/ Leeds city centres. Was good value for room only, cheap & cheerful ok for 1 night. .
The hotel looked like some renovation had been started but not finished. Walls were newly painted but furniture was older but serviceable. The bed was a little hard & squeaked. The bathroom was small but again serviceable but there was some mould behind the shower door. Not sure if you can still have breakfast here, it was not mentioned when we checked in & there was no sign of it when we checked out but we may well have missed it as it was 10am, there are some good cafes (E.g the crown cafe) in cleckheaton that do good value breakfasts or there is always weatherspoons. You get what you pay for & for this reason I would stop here for a night again. There is a lot of potential waiting to be unlocked.

I stayed one night and the experience was good. The location was serene and the garden view from my room was fine, exceeding my expectations from my last visit in cleckheaton. The staff was accommodating and made the check-in process easy.
No breakfast was available .

The room was nice and surrounding countryside pretty
The hot water in room 5 was luke warm and the shower did not work. The breakfast was delayed due to staff not turning up which delayed my start. The chairs were very dusty and cuttlery dirty. £7.00 for uncooked mushrooms and the cheapest sausages is not value for money. I will not be using this hotel again.

The staff member who booked us in, and who also seemed to do everything else, was very friendly & helpful.
It's a lovely building but the interior is in need of a refurb. We actually have stayed there before a few years ago, and the rooms are looking 'worn' & 'drab' which is a shame as it used to be a nice hotel.
